Blackberry, Bramblewood and Briar Patch cottages are situated on a peaceful complex of cottages with extensive facilities, designed to make your holiday relaxing and effortless.
Our guests tell us the cottages are among the best equipped they’ve stayed in which might be why we get a high number of them return year after year and we’re delighted to welcome them.
Should you choose to spend time at the cottage, you have the following facilities at your disposal, for no extra charge:
Indoor Heated Swimming pool
40ft/12.3m indoor, heated swimming pool, with M/F changing rooms and hot showers is open daily*, all year round, from 8am until between 6pm and 8pm (depending on the time of year). *N.B. The pool does not open on Jan 1st or Dec 25th.
Laundry facilities
Three automatic washing machines along with laundry baskets and tumble dryers are available for a modest charge
Fast, free WiFi
WiFi is free and has been upgraded to fibre, giving excellent connectivity and speeds
Food services
All cottages are self-catering but we offer two food services which can be booked in advance:
Grocery Orders
The Lansdown Dairy in the centre of Bude will deliver an initial supply of groceries in advance of your arrival. The cottage will be stocked with fresh food in your fridge/freezer. All you need do is pop in and pay during the week! The ordering process couldn’t be easier and we will be happy to provide information should you wish to take advantage of this service.
Freshly Cooked Meals
A local catering service delivers freshly prepared quality food direct to your cottage should you want to celebrate a special occasion or just take the pressure off on the first or last night or even, as some of our guests have, choose a fully catered break to give you a real rest!
Outdoor Play Area
Outside play area comprising large meadow, suitable for ball games; children’s adventure playground with Wendy House, swings, climbing frame, slide, springy animals and a crawl-through tractor
Games Room
Games Room with table tennis and pool tables (40p per game).
