Bramblewood has a large
landscaped garden, with the benefit of a large secluded side garden
with BBQ, bordering onto the grounds of the Manor House. Originally, when Trevalgas
was a working farm, the Manor was the farmhouse, but later the farm
buildings were turned into self catering cottages, and each was
sold.
Bramblewood and Blackberry, however, are modern additions to the
small complex.

Enjoy a lazy lunch in the garden or just relax after
a day on the beach and enjoy a drink watching
the sunset.

Bramblewood's rear garden is on two levels, with
the higher level backing onto the large play
field. There is a arched gate at the rear to allow children to go over to the
adventure play area while adults can relax in the garden and keep a eye
on them from a distance!
Plenty of space to play in the garden

Bramblewood's colourful garden is packed
with bulbs, herbaceous plants and flowering
shrubs, enjoying the mild Cornish climate.
Gates have been fitted to the
paths on both sides of the cottage, and the gardens are now enclosed
with toddler proof fences, and so that you can relax in the garden
with a drink, and not worry about your toddlers escaping around the
front of the cottage!

On one side of the cottage is Blackberry
Lodge, and to the other is a large field, separated by a large grassy
area, so when there are horses and goats in the field, they are
prevented from nibbling our beautiful red escallonia hedge which flowers
most of the season!

Bramblewood's parking space is surrounded by
fuchsias tumbling with flower
most of the year in the mild climate and protected by an
ancient wall.
Even Bramblewood's parking area, very close to
the cottage, and next to this old gate in the farm wall, is surrounded by
flowers.

At the front of the cottage
is a large terrace with a bench for enjoying a morning coffee and taking
in the views. This photo is was taken before the
side gates were fitted.

All around Trevalgas Farm
Cottages, there are colourful flower beds, raised form plant
plugs each year by our wonderful gardener who looks after
the complex. Pictured opposite are the flower beds by the
indoor swimming pool building in early September.

At the front of
Bramblewood is a large sunny terrace overlooking the
Trevalgas Farm Cottages complex, and over the surrounding
countryside. There are tubs, troughs and borders providing a
colourful place to sit on the bench and enjoy a morning
coffee in the sun, and read the newspaper!

There are plenty of open
areas with fuchsia and escallonia hedgerows. This area just
opposite the Games room is full of flowerbeds, and colourful
most of the year, thanks to the mild Cornish climate and
protection from the surrounding trees.
